Today I bring you a very special unboxing, as it is about the new edition of Warhammer 40.000: Leviathan, which will be released in the coming weeks. This will be the tenth edition of this popular wargame, and will include new miniatures, rules, cards and background.

Before I begin, I owe thanks to Games Workshop for sending me this magnificent box of the new edition of Warhammer 40k before its release.

And now… Lets start!

The box, which measures 44 x 30 x 11 cm, includes a large amount of content for new players or veterans of the game.

This is a box with a large number of miniatures, and more importantly, all the miniatures are new, so the only way to get them at this time will be through this box. These miniatures will be available for purchase separately at a later date, as usual.

Inside the box we will find a total of 72 miniatures. 25 of them correspond to the space marines, and 47 to the tyranids. All the miniatures are easy to build, so their assembly is very simple, something that can be understood since it is a new edition for new players to enter the hobby.

Veteran players will miss the greater customization offered by other sprues, but as I will show you in future articles, it is relatively easy to make modifications to customize the miniatures to our liking.

If you want to see all the sprues in detail, I recommend you to watch the video at the end of the article, where I do the full unboxing showing all the sprues.

For the assembly of these miniatures, being easy to build and fitting the pieces in a simple way, I have found it very useful to use very thin plastic glues that act by capillary action, such as AMMO Extra Thin Cement. It is not a glue that I usually use (extra thin), but for this type of easy to build sprues I have found it to be very useful.

Here are some photos of tyranids that I have been assembling.

From the Space Marines part, I will show you in future posts everything I have been preparing… here is a preview!

Hardcover book:

This is a very neat hardcover book, ideal for collectors. In its 392 pages you will find from information about each faction in detail, through the rules of the new edition, and even new background stories that accompany this new edition.

Here is a picture of the table of contents so that you can see all the contents included.

And here are some photos of its contents. You can click to see them in full size.
