This tutorial shows how to paint Old Gold onto the plates of a Warhammer 40k Imperial Knight with the “True Metallic Metal” technique, following a few simple steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lets start!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

1.- Paint the entire area to be covered with gold color, using Metal Color Gold 77.725<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2.- Next, apply a wash using a mixture of Game Ink Sepia<\/a> 72.091 and Model Color Amaranth Red<\/a> 70.829.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

3.- A mixture of Model Air Metallic Gold<\/a> 71.066 and Model Air Metallic Chrome<\/a> 71.064 is applied to the areas with peak highlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4.- Using the previous mixture of Game Ink Sepia<\/a> 72.091 and Model Color Amaranth Red<\/a> 70.829, one more wash is applied to blend and soften the previous highlights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5.- A wash of Game Ink Violet<\/a> 72.087 is applied to the areas with deep shadows and rivets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
